BGMC stands for “Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge.” Kids are challenged to help our missionaries, challenged to sacrificially give to missions, challenged to help the needy in the world, challenged to pray for missionaries, challenged to pray for various people groups, challenged to love and accept people of all races, challenged to reach the lost, and challenged to keep their hearts open to the call of God for full-time missions. The money raised through BGMC is used to provide our missionaries with the supplies they need to reach people around the world. BGMC equips kids to know, to care, to pray, to give, and to reach the lost. BGMC has a two-fold purpose:to reach the children of the world and to create a heart of compassion in kids. LIVING FREE | TURNING POINT MINISTRIESLiving Free is a small group strategy that has helped over 800,000 people learn to face life’s struggles and move toward freedom and wholeness in Christ. At church and work, people are smiling outside—hurting inside. Keeping up appearances. But something has its hooks in them. Threatens to take them under. Depression. Anxiety. Anger. Broken Relationships. Caregiving Responsibilities. Addictions. Eating Disorders. Money Problems. Compulsive Sex. A Loved-one’s Problems. Living Free was founded with the name Turning Point Ministries in 1988 by Dr. Jimmy Ray Lee in response to an invitation by a church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to help some members struggling with personal problems. Turning Point began with 38 participants and has grown to nearly one million participants. Dr. Lee has years of experience helping struggling people overcome problems. He is the founder of two Teen Challenge Centers and Project 714, a national school-based prevention and intervention program for students in the USA. Turning Point Ministries is a non-profit Christian ministry that provides churches and ministries with small group training and discipleship curriculums that focus on helping people prevent and overcome life-controlling issues. The materials are biblically-based, Christ-centered, and designed to benefit all church members—challenging them to examine their own lives and equipping them to reach their communities by addressing the heart-felt needs of people. Living Free is a non-profit Christian organization that equips churches and other Christian organizations to provide practical and biblical help to people struggling with life-controlling problems. Turning Point Ministries is the official name of the ministry; however, we are more commonly known as Living Free since we introduced small group ministry training videos by that same name in 2000. We prefer the Living Free name, but because some of our materials still use the name Turning Point, we continue to use both names. Our offices are located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. Founded in 1988 Living Free is now represented in more than 40 countries. Nearly one million people around the world have participated in Living Free small groups. MANDY LOFTON | Pop/R&B ArtistMandy Lofton has always had a passion for singing. She began singing publicly from the age of five. Most of her early experiences were singing in churches as the daughter of missionary parents. While living in the Czech Republic (Central Europe), she had the privilege of recording childrens’ songs to be used throughout the nation’s English education programs. At age nine, Mandy had the honor of singing on national television with an International Childrens Choir to commemorate the ten year anniversary of the fall of communism with several world leaders including Mikhail Gorbatrov, Helmut Kohl, George and Barbara Bush, and Margaret Thatcher in attendance. Throughout her life, Mandy has enjoyed singing in various choirs and ensembles. However, she shines most performing solo, when her personality is unleashed. As a Christian, it is Mandy’s desire to always follow in God’s direction. She feels that singing has always been a blessing from God on her life, and she was born to encourage others through that gift.
